The National Playwrights Symposium is hosted by Cape May Stage, a NOT-FOR-PROFIT organization. It is offered as a service to the theatre and playwriting communities. Therefore, the prices are set at the lowest possible level and are not intended to generate profit in any way. We will continue to seek sponsors and grants that may allow us to further reduce the costs of offering this experience.
• SYMPOSIUM FEE:
$645 for applications received by March 15 (A $50 discount code will be provided.)
$695 for applications received after March 15
• SPECIAL DISCOUNT:
A $100 DISCOUNT WILL BE AWARDED TO ANY RETURNING PLAYWRIGHT WHO REFERS A NEW PARTICIPATING PLAYWRIGHT WHO IS SELECTED FOR THE SYMPOSIUM. ($100 discount code will be provided.)
• DEPOSIT DUE:
$300 (non-refundable) – Within 5 business days after application approval. We will provide a payment notification via an INVITATION EMAIL at the time of acceptance.
• OPTIONAL DISCOUNT HOUSING: (Because the Camelot Motel is an independent business, accommodation options and prices are subject to change.)
$375 for 5 nights of shared accommodations with another symposium attendee (2 per room) at Camelot Motel. We will arrange your suite-mate or you can request a specific attendee.
$700 for 5 nights of private (not shared) accommodations at Camelot Motel.
Suites have two double beds in the bedroom, one sofa bed in the living room, a dining table, a desk and a small kitchenette. The motel is a 10-minute walk from Cape May Stage and close to many stores and restaurants.
AT THE REQUEST OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE YOUR OWN ARRANGEMENTS WITH THE CAMELOT. Alternate accommodations may be arranged elsewhere by attendees although we encourage you to join us at The Camelot.
Hotel fees are only refundable IF the motel refunds Cape May Stage.
